Ben has over 25 years experience of all aspects of building surveying. He has built a loyal client base in those years and has become trusted advisor to many commercial property professionals.

Ben co-founded Method BC after seeing a gap in the market for an approachable, down to earth building surveying practice who always puts their clients first. Ben knows that every client and every property is different and will always invest time in getting to know his clients and understand their business so that he can tailor his surveying skills to suit the circumstances. He is commercially aware and will develop tactics and deliver advice to always get the best outcome for his clients. This underpins the Method ethos.

Ben loves to be part of the team and nothing is too small or below him. This goes back to his many years of playing rugby which instilled a sense of team spirit in him for life. Ben’s love for rugby continues and although he doesn’t play anymore, he is now a valued coach at Northern Rugby Club where he coaches his son’s U11 team. He is also the co-founder and organiser of an annual charity event established to raise money for St Oswald’s Hospice. The event has grown over the years and is one of the main events in the local property professional calendar!
