Matt previously studied 3D design at Northumbria University where he opened a product and furniture making business in his 2nd year which led to selling handmade products around the world for over 8 years.

Looking to deepen his interest in architecture, design and building pathology, Matt decided to combine these passions and pursue a career in Building Surveying through a conversion Master Degree at University of the Built Environment.

Matt is motivated to deepen his understanding of the built environment and to have a positive impact on the industry by seeking opportunities to lower embodied carbon and learn how sustainability of projects can be improved.

When not in the office, Matt can be found fell running and mountain biking in Northumberland or the Lake District.
